KOZHIKODE: Ajnas accused for allegedly posting obscene comments against the daughter of BJP state chief K Surendran, has come forward with an explanation. He said the comment was posted from a fake address in his name. He said that he did not know about it.
He said that he has the evidence for it. The news that his father apologized for the incident is false. Ajnas said that he would lodge a complaint with the Qatar police, cyber police and Indian embassy.
On the occasion of daughter's day, Surendran had posted a photograph of him along with his daughter in his Facebook page with the caption ''my daughter my pride''. He posted the sexually derogatory comment under it.
The comment was deleted soon after the incident stoked a controversy. Union Minister V Muraleedharan and others had criticized the incident. BJP workers marched to Ajnas' house soon after it. BJP activists returned after warning his father.
‘There should be no such reaction. You know, the people and the system for that will be here, the BJP activists said. Contacted Ajnaz and he said that he had not posted such a comment. If he has not posted it, then no problem. If he had posted that comment, then legal action will be taken against him,’ warned BJP activists.
Ajnas is working in Qatar and hailing from nearby Perambra in Kozhikode.
