THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On Wednesday, 11,115 health workers in the state were vaccinated against Covid, health minister KK Shailaja informed. Today, vaccination was given in 121 centers. Thiruvananthapuram district had the highest number of (34) vaccination centers.
Thiruvananthapuram district had the highest number of health workers (2421) receiving the vaccine. Alappuzha 194, Ernakulam 1958, Idukki 655, Kannur 313, Kollam 423, Kottayam 250, Kozhikode 640, Malappuram 354, Palakkad 1280, Pathanamthitta 1207, Thiruvananthapuram 2421 and Thrissur 1420 are the number of people who have been vaccinated today. This brings the total number of health workers vaccinated in the state to 83,645.
There are 5,10,502 people registered for vaccination across the state, including health workers and Covid frontline warriors. A total of 4,08,723 health workers were registered, including 1,93,798 in the government sector and 2,14,925 in the private sector. In addition, 4764 central health workers were registered. Currently, the registration of Covid frontline warriors is underway. 75,597 Home Department employees, 6,600 municipal workers and 14,818 Revenue Department employees have registered for the vaccine. 11
