THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the completion of 2.5 lakh houses under the Life Mission project is a matter of pride. Life Mission is an unparalleled housing development project. The chief minister said the government is giving an opportunity for everyone to live with dignity. He was speaking at the inauguration of the completion of 2.5 lakh houses under the Life Mission project.

The chief minister claimed that all missions started by the state government are successful. The government was able to defend the pandemic through Aardram Mission. The government’s aim is to stand with the people and hold them by their hands. There are a large number of people who see the government with hope. The chief minister said they are determined to stand with the poor.

The chief minister said the government has a lot of limitations and projects will be implemented to overcome it. The pandemic is on the rise due to lack of caution. The decision of the high level meeting is to take drastic measures. Ward level committees in local bodies should be revived. Masks should be worn and social distancing should be maintained. The chief minister also said people from homes of the sick should not go out to buy things.

The chief minister reached at the house warming ceremony of Prabha, a native of Vattiyoorkavu in Thiruvananthapuram. The completion of 2,50,547 houses was announced today.
