KOCHI: An agreement was reached at the RSS-BJP leadership meeting in Ernakulam for seamless activities in the assembly elections. There was also a general discussion about the candidate list.

The RSS-BJP leadership will meet at the district level to resolve disputes over candidate selection. There will be an RSS observer in charge of elections in all assembly constituencies. Booth level function will be further strengthened. In areas where the BJP booth committee is not active, RSS will come to the fore.

The party will campaign for the upcoming assembly polls as the real opposition side in the state. The UDF and LDF policies appeasing Muslim extremist organizations will be exposed. The infallibility of the Muslim League will be the subject of elections. The meeting evaluated the camps held at the constituency level to convey the central government's plans to the people. They also discussed the Kerala Yatra led by K Surendran. The RSS suggested that there should be strict control over discipline in the organization from the grassroots to the state leadership. The meeting also explained the action taken against those who carried out anti-party activities in the local body elections. It was also suggested that differences within the party should be discussed and resolved.

The meeting started at 10 am at the RSS state headquarters in Elamakkara and ended at 6 pm. RSS leaders K.K. Balaram, P. Gopalankutty, M. Radhakrishnan, Harikrishnan and BJP leaders Union Minister of State V Muraleedharan, Kummanam Rajasekharan, K Surendran, PK Krishnadas, MT Ramesh, AN Radhakrishnan, M Ganesh and others participated.
