KOLLAM: A nurse of a private hospital in Kollam collapsed and died. She has been identified as Suja (52), wife of Ramanan of Valiyakulangara Gurutheertha. She died of cardiac arrest. She received vaccine from Covid vaccine distribution centre at Karunagapally taluk hospital yesterday. Following that, she collapsed under observation.

Sujatha was admitted at a private hospital in Karunagapally. Though she was subjected for angioplasty following a block, her life could not be saved.

The body is kept at the mortuary. District medical officer R Sreelatha said that she didn’t have any problems after taking the vaccine. She tested negative in the tests conducted.
