THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A heavy rush was witnessed at the canteen elections held in the secretariat. This was seen soon after the chief minister said that strict measures will be taken in the state to prevent the spread of Covid. They did not adhere to COVID protocol and also violated government directives.

The pictures of the employees gathering and rushing to vote for the election held in the Durbar Hall of the Secretariat are widely circulated. The chief minister had the other day asserted that police checking would be intensified to find violations of Covid protocol. However, despite all this, the staff of the secretariat gathered to vote for the election.
