NEW DELHI: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Friday issued an alert at all airports, important installations and government buildings in view of the blast reported in Delhi. It also stated that enhanced security measures have been put in place across the country.

The minor explosion took not far from Vijay Chowk, where several VVIPs including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi were in attendance during the 'Beating Retreat' ceremony. Windscreens of several cars parked in the vicinity of the Embassy on Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road here were found damaged. No injuries have been reported so far.
