THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thrithala MLA VT Balram has come up mocking the Chief Minister for not directly handing over the state film awards to the winners. In his Facebook post, Balram said that it was a good thing that the Chief Minister did not give the film awards directly.
He also stated that the Malayalam film stars should appreciate this by coming up with Facebook posts written in the 'same format'.

Balram mocked the CM by sharing a picture of the state film awards. Several people have criticized the state government for not directly handing over the awards to the winners. Accusing the Chief Minister of insulting the artists, producer Suresh Kumar said that the Chief Minister could have distributed the awards by following the COVID protocols.
