NEW DELHI: CPM leader and MP K K Ragesh has contracted COVID-19. He was confirmed of the virus in the tests conducted ahead of the Parliament session. Ragesh was very active in the protests staged in New Delhi against Centre’s farm laws.

Meantime, the transmission of COVID in the state continues unabated. The virus was confirmed on 6282 people yesterday. 321 tested positive in Kannur. CPM district secretary M V Jayarajan admitted to Kannur Government Medical College after contracting the virus is still in the ICU.
