THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A recent report claimed that popular television star Vivek Gopan has joined BJP. A photograph of the actor posing for a picture along with BJP state president K Surendran and district secretary VV Rajesh has been circulating on social media.

Some right-wing supporters have come up with social media posts welcoming Vivek to the party while claiming that the actor has joined the party However, Vivek Gopan is yet to confirm this.

It must be noted that Vivek had shared a video on his social media account asking people to vote for the BJP in the recent local body elections. Vivek became popular among the Malayali audience through the super hit television serial 'Parasparam'. He has also acted in 15 movies including 'Oru Marubhoomi Kadha', 'Pullikkaaran Stara' and 'Oru Kuttanaadan Blog'.
