KASARAGOD: Speaking at the inaugural function of the UDF's Aishwarya Kerala Yatra, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has accused the Chief Minister's office of being like a stronghold of robbers. Kerala is being ruled by an underworld government, Chennithala said.

The opposition leader urged the public not to give a second term to the incumbent Pinarayi Vijayan government. He also accused the government of boasting about development.

Chennithala said the LDF was pitting Muslims and Christians against each other. He said he did not understand why Vijayaraghavan is so anti-Muslim and that the Left was trying to divide religions in Kerala.

Chennithala said that the struggle is to maintain secularism and warned the Chief Minister that he is playing with fire.
