KASARAGOD: Congress leader K Sudhakaran on Monday made a misogynistic remark against Swapna Suresh, one of the main accused in the gold smuggling case. He said the CM's office was controlled by a prostitute who did not even pass the 10th class. K Sudhakaran was speaking at the inaugural function of 'Aishwarya Kerala Yatra' led by Leader of Opposition Ramesh Chennithala. Sudhakaran added that the CM's office cannot be compared to any other state CM's office.

'Next to that office is Swapna Suresh's room. She was the IT coordinator and was on a salary of more than one and a half lakh rupees. What qualification does she hold? I want the state to weigh in on the credibility of the Chief Minister, who said he doesn't know a prostitute who did not even pass Class X, who was with him for three and a half years and controlled the CM's office, took part in the IT activities and was involved in gold smuggling and corruption', Sudhakaran said.

Sudhakaran said that the spread of Covid in the state is being fabricated by the Chief Minister and the Health Minister ahead of the elections. Sudhakaran alleges that the viral infections have not increased here as per an investigation done on their part.
