MALAPPURAM: Two persons were killed after a goods lorry overturned at Vattapara in Valanchery. The driver and the cleaner were those killed. They have been identified as Muthukar of Tamil Nadu and Ayyappan of Malampuzha. The accident happened Tuesday early morning. The bodies were taken out from the lorry after four hours by the police and the locals.

The lorry laden with iron rods proceeding to Ernakulam from Bengaluru overturned after losing control. This is an area where accidents occur quite often. A week ago, a lorry had overturned here and the driver died.
