KOCHI: V4 People's Party announced the candidate for Kochi constituency in the forthcoming assembly elections. The party chose Nipun Cherian, V4 Kerala Campaign Co-ordinator, as the candidate to contest in Kochi.

The police had arrested Nipun Cherian for opening the Vyttila Bridge even before its inauguration. V4 People's Party shone well under the name of V4 Kochi in the last local body elections.

The organization got more than thirteen per cent votes in corporation divisions which are part of Kochi constituency. It is with this confidence that they are entering the fray in the assembly elections. The party has announced to contest in Ernakulam, Thrikkakara and Tripunithura constituencies.
