Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) will start functioning in its own building from this month. Mega stars Mammootty and Mohanal will jointly inaugurate the new building at Kaloor in Ernakulam on February 6.

The inaugural function will adhere to COVID-19 protocols. Entry will be limited to 100 hundred people. It was Lalettan’s long wish to have a permanent headquarters for AMMA. From now on, AMMA’s meeting will be held here. All arrangements have been made for it.

There are five glass chambers for actors to hear scripts and for writers and directors. Films can be screened in the auditorium. Poojas can be conducted here. There will be special rooms for the office bearers and there will be office staffs, AMMA general secretary Edavela Babu told a media.
