THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 30,905 health workers received vaccine shots against COVID-19 in Kerala on Tuesday, Health Minister KK Shailaja said. With this, a total of 2,28,930 health workers have received the vaccine in the state.

The vaccination program took place in 452 centers on Tuesday. Ernakulam district had the highest number(91) of vaccination centers.

The number of vaccine centers in other districts is as follows:

Alappuzha- 21, Kannur- 37, Kasaragod- 6, Kollam- 25, Kottayam- 38, Kozhikode- 43, Malappuram- 31, Palakkad- 26, Pathanamthitta- 31, Thiruvananthapuram- 54, Thrissur- 45 and Wayanad- 10.

Ernakulam district had the highest number of health workers (6786) receiving the vaccine.
