THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI(M) will strengthen the criticism that the Congress and the Muslim League are trying to form an alliance with the Jamaat-e-Islami ahead of the Assembly elections. It will also explain that its criticism against the Muslim League was not directed against the entire Muslim community.

It was agreed at the CPM secretariat meeting held yesterday that whatever the decision of the Supreme Court on the issue of Sabarimala women's admission, it will be implemented with the consensus of all parties. The party will convince the society that the Congress and the UDF are taking up the Sabarimala issue by aiming at the elections.
