THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An 18-year-old boy has been arrested for impregnating a minor at Vattappara in the capital city. The police arrested him Wednesday morning for impregnating the 16-year-old girl. Police said the girl had sex with the boy a few months ago.

The boy used to visit the girl when no one was at home and indulge in sex. Her pregnancy came to light when she was taken to the hospital for stomach pain. Her parents soon informed the police and the childline. Police said the boy will be produced in the court today.
