THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After showcasing his support for the right wing party sometime now, actor Krishnakumar has now joined the BJP. Krishnakumar received the membership from the BJP National President JP Nadda, who is on a two-day visit to Kerala. Krishnakumar said the posts are helpful to public service and he would accept if given the opportunity to contest in the Assembly elections.

Krishnakumar said he is happy to be able to accept membership from JP Nadda. BJP state president K Surendran was also present on the occasion.

Nadda said there was no group politics in the BJP in the state, adding that the sentiments of some may have been hurt. Nadda said that everyone has opportunities in the BJP and the party is a big family.
