KANNUR: A major rush was witnessed at the programme attended by ministers in Taliparamba. Gathering without adhering to Covid protocol sparked a big controversy. The police are also unable to control the mob not maintaining social distance. Ministers K K Shailaja, E P Jayarajan and Kadannappalli Ramachandran are participating in the adalat.

Meantime, Taliparamba inspector Satyanath said that he has nothing to say about the incident. He said there was no need to explain anything to the media. From the beginning of the election time itself criticisms were raised on the moves of political leaders flouting Covid norms. Covid rules are found flouted in ruling, opposition and even government programmes.

A large people had attended the adalat attended by ministers at Edathua in Alappuzha violating Covid norms and the crowd witnessed at opposition leader's Aishwarya Kerala Yatra were criticised. Political leaders are seen accusing each other but no action was taken.
