k-sudhakaran

MALAPPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said that he is completely satisfied with the explanation given by K Sudhakaran. Chennithala said that yesterday a general response was given to the questions of media. This controversy should end here. Sudhakaran is not a person who criticizes anyone. He said Sudhakaran has been in the political field for many years.

Sudhakaran is a leader with good supporters. The party is not of the opinion that he has insulted anyone. I had spoken to Sudhakaran on the phone. It is not right to give misleading news. The most important thing is the illegal appointments seen in the state, he said.

The Pinarayi Government has given jobs to all wives of former MPs. Appointment of relatives is going on smoothly. All children of MLAs are given jobs. When lakhs are in the PSC list and are not getting jobs, ten thousands are taken through back door appointments. Close ones are being regularised. All this should be stopped, said Chennithala.

Sudhakaran’s reference to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s family background in his address at a political meet in Kannur had triggered a controversy. His speech that the chief minister hailed from a family of toddy tapper had drawn sharp criticisms on social media which viewed it as a casteist slander.
