PALAKKAD: A six-year-old boy was beheaded by his mother in Palakkad as part of a sacrifice, according to an FIR. The police say the murder was intentional. The shocking took place in Poolakkad in Palakkad. Shahida told police that she had killed her son at God's command.

The murdered boy's name is Amil. He was six years old. His mother Shahida was taken into custody by the Palakkad south police. The mother beheaded her son in the bathroom of the house at around 4 in the morning. After the murder, she called the police herself and informed them. Her husband and two children were at home at the time of the incident.

Her husband, who was sleeping in the next room, found out about the murder after police arrived at the house.
