THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Now there is no need to enjoy the wildness, views and warmth of the forest. Tourists can now confidently visit the forest department's eco-tourism hubs of Senthuruni, Gavi and Ponmudi with insurance coverage. The insurance scheme covers 44 major eco-tourism destinations in the state.

Pathanamthitta: Gavi - Compensation up to Rs 2 lakh for accidental death and up to Rs 10,000 for injured
Thiruvananthapuram: Ponmudi, Mankayam Falls - 1 lakh for accidental death
Neyyar boat ride, Agasthyarkoodam trekking - Rs 3 lakh for accidental death

Kollam: Palaruvi, Kumbhavurutty Falls - 2 lakh for accidental death
Idukki Wildlife - Maximum 5 lakhs for death and injury
Eravikulam, Chinnar- 1 lakh for injury and 2 lakh for death
Periyar Tiger Reserve - Rs 5 lakh for marriage and complete disability, 50,000 for injury


Ernakulam: Periyar riverside - 1 lakh for accidental death
Thrissur: Athirappilly, Chimney - Rs 1 lakh for accidental death, Rs 5,000 for treatment
Palakkad: Silent Valley - Rs 1 lakh for accidental death and Rs 25,000 for treatment
Malappuram: Minnampara Jeep Safari - Rs 1 lakh for accidental death, Rs 10,000 for treatment
Kozhikode: Thusharagiri, Kakkayam - Rs 1 lakh for accidental death, Rs 10,000 for treatment
Wayanad: Thirunelli, Muthanga, Tholpetty- Rs 1 lakh for accidental death, Rs 25,000 for treatment
Kannur: Paithalmala, Kanjirakolli - 1 lakh for accidental death, 50,000 for disability and 20,000 for treatment
