THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The secretariat continued to witness stricter regulations on account of the spike in transmission of COVID-19. In the wake of the transmission of deadly pandemic, the number of staffs in the finance department of the Secretariat have been reduced. Only half of the staff from peon to deputy secretary need to come for work. The regulation has come into effect from today. Restrictions do not apply to joint secretaries and additional secretaries.
