PALLIKAL: The resemblance of Pranav Mohanlal helped Sanal own the Guinness World Record. Sanal Kumar, son of Soman and Sumangala of Thengamam became Guinness Sanal after he imitated Pranav.

Sanal imitated Pranav in a comedy programme conducted by a noted channel two years ago. This programme attained the Guinness World Record for conducting the programme continuously with most number of artists.

Sanal, who was working in Saudi Arabia as a civil engineer, reached Guruvayur to attend his friend’s wedding. Some mistaking him as Pranav Mohanlal came near him and took selfies. His friend Binesh posted this picture on social media. The photo went viral after it was taken over by Mohanlal Fans Association.

His fate changed after actor Suraj Venjaramoodu invited him to play Pranav in some stage shows. He did many stage shows in India and abroad. In between this, he acted in a film. There are two of his films to be released. He has not met Pranav so far and is a bit sad in it.

However, his selfie with actor Mohanlal is an unforgettable experience. He got the Guinness World Record the other day.
