KOZHIKODE: The Supreme Court on Monday stayed a Kerala High Court order granting bail to Jolly, the main accused in the Koodathayi case. A bench led by Justices Mohana Santhana Gowder and Vineeth Saran stayed the bail of Jolly.

The apex court directed to take her into custody if she has been released. The high court granted her bail in the murder case of her mother-in-law Annamma. The government approached the Supreme Court asserting that it will badly affect the case if she is given bail in a case as all the six cases are connected together.

Jolly murdered her husband Roy and his parents by giving them cyanide. Mathew, who expressed suspicion on their deaths, was killed in the same manner. In order to marry her relative Shaju, killed his wife Sily and daughter Alphine by giving them cyanide.
