PALAKKAD: One of the subject experts in the interview panel who complained against Ninita Kanicherry’s appointment in Kalady University has withdrawn his complaint and has sent a letter to authorities stating the same. Dr T Pavithran, chief of the chair in Malayalam university has sent the letter to the vice chancellor. Whereas the copy of the letter is not available. Sources say Dr Pavithran who is a CPM sympathiser, has withdrawn the compliant after the middleman—office bearer of AKGCTA in Malappuram district—has asked him to do so. This person was also alleged by M B Rajesh for having played the role of an intermediary in setting off the issue as a controversy.
Earlier three persons have complained about Ninitha’s appointment. With the withdrawal of Dr Pavithran, issues over her appointment will subside. Dr T Pavithran, a CPM sympathiser got appointed in Malayalm university after his retirement from the teaching sector. The teacher who is alleged to have been the middleman is a member of the university’s panel and has also become a member of the board of studies, during the left rule in the state.
