THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The agitation by various rank holders' associations in front of the Secretariat is intensifying. Their stand is that they will not back down and will continue their struggle till death. CPO and Last Grade candidates have been on strike for 15 days.

Many leaders took to the streets to express solidarity with the protesters while demanding the government to stop betraying the youth. Congress leader Mathew Kuzhalnadan and BJP leader and actor Krishnakumar greeted the protesters.

Mathew Kuzhalnadan said that there is no politics in the strike and if the government ignores the youth who are waiting hard for PSC jobs, they will face severe protests. The protest of those in the rank list will turn into a big strike. He said the opposition would support the continued struggle of the candidates.
