KOCHI: The high court has dismissed the move to arrest actress Sunny Leone on the case of not participating in programmes after getting paid. The bench headed by Justice Ashok Menon has put a bar on arresting the actress, her husband Daniel Weber and her staff Sunil Rajani.

Even though the court has put a bar on the arrest of the trio, it has given crime branch the nod to proceed with the investigation. The court also said that if Sunny Leone needs to be questioned then a prior notice should be served to her as per Section 41A. The complaint given by Perumbavoor native Shiyas to DGP was handed over to crime branch. The crime branch which started a preliminary enquiry on the case has also questioned the actress, after visiting her at the shooting site in Poovar. Whereas in her anticipatory bail plea the actress has said instead of giving the pre-decided amount the organisers of the event have tried to forcibly participate her in various events. She also said that the lapse occurred from the part of the organisers.
