MALAPPURAM: Minister A K Saseendran complained to the national leadership about the dispute in the change of front. Saseendran complained that Kappan had unilaterally announced exist from the front and that no talks were held in the party. Saseendran said majority in the party is not interested in it. Saseendran confirmed of lodging a complaint with the national leadership.

The minister said there was no need for the NCP to leave the Left Front and reiterated that no formal discussions had taken place in this regard. A K Saseendran said that there was no need to go after speculations that were not even discussed and has informed the central leadership about it, he said.

Praful Patel and the chief minister held talks on seat allocations. Saseendran said that he is not surprised by chief minister's statements that there should be a compromise on seats. Meantime, a crucial decision will be taken today on whether the NCP Kerala unit along with Mani C Kappan will leave the Left Front. NCP state chief T P Peethambaran and Mani C Kappan will meet national president Sharad Pawar this afternoon.
