NEW DELHI: Mani C Kappan said that he will not part ways with Pala seat and will contest only from there. He said this while speaking to the media in Delhi after holding talks with NCP chief Sharad Pawar. Kappan claimed that he had briefed Pawar on the current situation in the state and that he had taken a sympathetic stance.

Praful Patel, who is in charge of Kerala is presently in Doha. Patel will return tomorrow and then will discuss the matter with him and Pawar. Pawar is staying in Delhi today for this. Patel will discuss the matter with NCP state chief T P Peethambaran and Mani C Kappan.

T P Peethambaran said that he had informed the central leadership of the differences within the party in the state. Kappan said the information obtained now is that the Pala seat will not be given and we never said that we have exited from the LDF. Kappan while reacting to Congress chief Mullappally Ramachandran's opinion that he can contest in hand symbol, said that he will not contest in hand symbol.
