NEW DELHI: The World Health Organisation (WHO) has praised the central government for reducing the number of COVID cases in India. Roderico Ofrin, WHO's representative in India, said that COVID cases in India have been steadily declining for the past three months and that the central government can be proud about it.
India's vigilance, discipline and strength in its fight againsr Covid paid off. In just 22 days, 6 million people in India have been vaccinated. "India has become the fastest country to vaccinate 60 lakh people," he said.
