THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On completion of LDF's statewide 'Vikasana Munnetta' march, the nomination of CPM candidates will take place, which is probably on the 27th. If there is an election announcement before that, the discussions will be held a little earlier.

As the state secretary and LDF convenor A Vijayaraghavan is part of the march, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan are leading the bilateral talks with the constituent parties. Various constituents may also hold discussions with the CPI leadership.

The previous CPM state committee had approved the criteria to exclude those who contested for two terms and those who contested in the last Lok Sabha elections, excluding concessions if necessary.
