KOTTAYAM: Mani C Kappan has left LDF. He has informed that he and his followers have left the front. The senior NCP leader has also added that he will not contest under the hand symbol and will join UDF only as a constituent party.

“LDF has shown injustice to us. The people of Pala will stand with me. The central leadership has not abandoned me and I have never thought about forming another party,” Mani C Kappan said.

He said that he will participate in the Aishwarya Kerala Yatra tomorrow along with his supporters. Kappan’s supporters claim that they have the support of six district committees of the party. Meanwhile, the central leadership will inform today, whom they will support—the Saseendran faction of the party in LDF or Kappan faction which has joined UDF. Party’s state president T P Peethambaran Master has informed that he will stand with the central leadership’s decision.
