KOCHI: A student who was on a picnic with friends drowned in Periyar. The deceased has been identified as Adarsh of Punnakattumala house in Kalamassery. He is a second year student in Kalamassery Govt ITI. Adarsh was drowned while trying to walk to the other side with his friends as the water in the river was low.
