KOTTAYAM: After resigning all party posts and floating a new party will join the UDF, said Mani C Kappan while addressing the media in the district. The announcement of his new party will be made tomorrow.

‘I’ll not resign the MLA post. More leaders will accompany me and those coming will resign their party posts. Those who don’t want the party to grow will be in the NCP itself. I don’t want to react on M M Mani’s statement,’ he said. Mani had asserted that even if he leaves the LDF, nothing will happen to the Front.

The NCP central leadership will be with the LDF itself. I am not disappointed on their decision. Sharad Pawar wants me to stay with him, he said. Kappan had demanded three seats to the UDF and they have assured that, he said.

When opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala’s Aishwarya Kerala Yatra reach Pala on Sunday, Kappan will attend it. He had informed this to the central leadership.
