THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Youth Congress leaders Shafi Parambil and Sabarinathan have launched an indefinite hunger strike to express solidarity with those PSC candidates who are staging a protest in front of the secretariat. The announcement of an indefinite hunger strike in support of the strike comes at a time when the struggle of Last Grade Servants Rank Holders and Civil Police Officer Rank List continues indefinitely.

Inaugurating the hunger strike, KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran demanded that the Chief Minister should take immediate action to resolve the issue. Shafi Parampil said that Pinarayi Vijayan was criticizing the struggle of the youth and that it was a struggle for justice.

Meanwhile, 20 days have passed since the strike by the candidates. Candidates say the indefinite fast will start from the 22nd.
