BENGALURU: A recent report claimed that 103 residents of an apartment in Bengaluru have tested positive for COVID-19 after attending a party held in the building. The incident took place at an apartment in the Bommanahalli area in the city.


The party was held on February 6 and the first person tested positive for the virus on February 12. Following this, all residents of the apartment were subjected to COVID tests and a total of 103 samples returned positive. However, most of the infected persons did not experience any symptoms.

The majority of those diagnosed with the disease are youngsters. All of them are in home quarantine. The Bengaluru civic body instructed the flat authorities to strictly adhere to the COVID protocol as many people tested positive for the virus.
