THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister E P Jayarjan has indicated that the government won’t go back in it’s stand on the protest of PSC rank holders. He also added that they are protesting in front of the secretariat for no use and if they are willing, then he will initiate talks. “The government was never ready to conduct talks on the issue. The rank holders were being misled to conduct the protests. Some vested interest groups are compelling them to continue the protests,” he said.

“The demands of the protesting job seekers are impossible to implement. BJP and Congress are supporting the protests, not because of their love for the job aspirants. The government cannot do anything illegal to fulfil the demands of the protestors,” Jayarajan said.

E P Jayarajan also responded to film stars flocking to Congress camp ahead of assembly polls. CPM has huge respect for artists like Salim Kumar. But some are suffering from political epilepsy due to their anti-left mentality.
