KOCHI: Petrol and diesel price continued to rally northward on Thursday, the 10th consecutive day when its retail prices rose across the country. In Thiruvananthapuram, petrol price was hiked by 34 paise to Rs 91.76 per litre yesterday. Diesel price has been hiked by 34 paise to Rs 86.27 per litre. In all other districts except Ernakulam, petrol price crossed Rs 90. The price in Ernakulam was Rs 89.77 yesterday.

After Rajasthan, petrol price crossed Rs 100 in Madhya Pradesh too. This is because the state sales tax is relatively high in these areas. Petrol is priced at Rs 100.13 in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan and Rs 100.25 in Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh.
