THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Reacting to the resignation of the remaining Congress government in South India, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday said that what happened in Puducherry was trade between those who put democracy up for sale and those who were willing to buy it.

"The BJP is playing a dangerous game of replacing democracy with communalism and money domination. They have made it a habit to sabotage the will of the people," the CM said. The CM also alleged that the vast majority of the Congress leadership have degenerated into products that anyone could carry by offering money and position.
