KASARAGOD: The Karnataka High Court has sought an explanation from the Karnataka government regarding the directive for people coming to Karnataka from Kerala to carry RT-PCR test results. This comes after a Kasaragod-based Congress activist filed a petition in the high court challenging the Karnataka government's order. The petition had alleged that the Yeddyurappa government's proposal was against the Unlock rules issued by the central government.
The court directed the Karnataka government to file a detailed affidavit in the matter and said the case would be heard on March 5. The case was heard by a bench headed by the Chief Justice. Earlier, there was a huge protest against the Karnataka government's decision in Thalappadi, which borders the Kasaragod district.
