THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sharply criticizing the state government and KIIFB in her address at the public meeting of Vijaya Yatra in Ernakulam, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that KIIFB is handling all the projects in Kerala and what kind of budget preparation is this. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the CAG has said that the entire activities of KIFB should be questioned.

Nirmala Sitharaman alleged that the law and order situation in Kerala was deteriorating, citing the Walayar, Periya and Vayalar murders. The Union Minister also demanded that the Chief Minister should clarify how Kerala can be called God's own country.
