THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Retired Chief Secretary Vishwas Mehta on Sunday said that he has not seen a better administrator than Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during his 37 years of service. In his retirement speech in Malayalam, Vishwas Mehta said that he was unable to find words to describe the Chief Minister and that he highly respected his ability and determination to make decisions.

"I have participated in 38 cabinets in the last nine months. I am the sixth Chief Secretary during his term as Chief Minister. I have sent 216 notices to the Chief Minister. The biggest surprise is that he has read every note. I do not understand how gets so much time," Mehta said. The former chief secretary said that his personal opinion was that Kerala needed leaders like Pinarayi Vijayan and that he was able to act on his instructions.
