KOZHIKODE: Renowned film director and screenwriter Ranjith will contest the assembly election as an LDF candidate in the Kozhikode North constituency.
It is learnt that Ranjith will replace CPM's sitting MLA A Pradeep Kumar. According to sources, Ranjith has informed the party leaders that he is willing to contest the election.
