KOZHIKODE: DYFI all India president Muhammed Riaz and T V Rajesh MLA have been remanded. The court remanded the two in the case of protesting against the hike in flight charges and cutting short services. The incident happened in 2016.

The blockade led by DYFI to the Air India office in Kozhikode had turned violent. All the accused leaders were granted bail in the case earlier but their bail was later cancelled. The high court directed them to appear before the trial court. The high court had also directed the trial court to take an appropriate decision after considering the case.
