KANNUR: An auto driver’s moral goondaism in Panoor. CCTV footages show a schoolboy brutally beaten for allegedly walking with his girl classmate. Auto driver Jineesh of Panoor was seen attacking the boy, a tenth class student of Rajiv Gandhi Higher Secondary School in Mokeri. The footages of the incident have been exposed.

The incident happened near the auto stand of Mutharipeedika Monday afternoon. Jineesh attacked the boy when he was returning from school after the model exams. He stopped the boy on the road and attacked him. He first slapped him and then beat him brutally.

When the incident stoked a controversy, the driver said the 15-year old was mistaken for someone else. Though his parents lodged a complaint at the Panoor police, it has been alleged that conciliatory talks were held. The boy’s family said that they will not withdraw from the complaint.
