KOCHI: The CPM has released its list of probable candidates in the Ernakulam district. M Swaraj will contest from Thrippunithura. Meanwhile, Vypin MLA S Sharma will not contest this time.

The party has decided to field KN Unnikrishnan in Vypin instead of Sharma. Unnikrishnan is currently a member of the CPM Ernakulam district secretariat. In Thrikkakara, Dr. J Jacob will be the candidate. He is the Ernakulam District Vice President of the Sports Council and a doctor at the Medical Trust.

Chandran Pillai has been named as the candidate in Kalamassery. KJ Maxi will contest from Kochi and Antony John will contest from Kothamangalam.
