KANNUR: LDF election campaign for the upcoming assembly polls will kick off at Dharmadom in Kannur today. The campaign will commence officially with the general meeting at the Pinarayi convention centre today at 5 pm in the evening.

Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan will reach Kannur international airport today at 3 pm. The chief minister who will reach Kannur airport will be felicitated in the presence of LDF leaders and then he will be taken to Pinarayi.

The chief minister will finally reach Pinarayi after the programmes in nine assembly constituencies in the district. The general meeting to be held at Pinarayi will be inaugurated by Pinarayi. The meet will witness the participation of prominent leaders of LDF and CPM.
