THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman police officer has revealed that Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials had forced Swapna Suresh to give statement against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The statement was made by Siji Vijayan, an officer at the Palarivattom police station, who was in charge of Swapna Suresh's security.

Earlier, in an audio recording of Swapna's conversation, it was mentioned that the investigating officers had forced her to name the Chief Minister. A special investigation team was tasked with investigating the release of the audio recording. The woman police officer gave her statement to this team

Siji Vijayan was in charge of Swapna's security when the latter was in the custody of ED. In her statement, Siji stated that she was present when Swapna was questioned by the ED officials. Swapna was forced to give a statement against the CM. The name of the CM was deliberately included in many of the questions asked, Siji said.
